Guess who did another meme. :'D
Yeah, I've been meaning to do one of these for a while but could never get around to it. Orginially I planned to draw each of them out and add in the images into the slots when done but I have things to do. Maybe I'll come back and do that later. Also was going to order them from favorite to least favorite but that was too painful to do, I love them in different ways and marking who I liked more then another wasn't fair. They each put a smile on my face so who cares about numbers. So I just put them in the slots that looked good with the "neighbor" that seem appropriate.
Okay, I'll breifly go into why I love each of them (starting from the left and going right then clockwise). :3

Castiel (from Supernatural)
Rather new compared to the rest on this list but still loved non-the-less. I already went into some detail on a image I drew of him so I'll be breif. He's the character that made me keep watching the show rather then giving up on it in the beginning, the angel that made enough of a entrance to stick around. He's a big adorable dork but also can cool and BA when need be, and he's the best guy to have in your corner when the chips are down. That being said he is flawed amnd makes massive mistakes, but realizes and works to correct his past sins. I worried with the series getting so long I'd come to dislike the direction they take his character and developement. Instead, I feel for him even more as it went on and I only hope he doesn't get killed off in the seasons to come.

Shinichi Izumi (from Parasyte the Maxim Anime)
I love this anime, which is funny cause I went in thinking that I'd hate it. Everything is so well done from the animation, the story, the themes and especially the characters. But of course, I absolutely loved the main character Shinichi, though his "companion" Migi comes at a close second (I in fact, wanted to show him in the image with Shinichi but couldn't find a good one). I think the reason I'm drawn to him is, for lack of a better word, the transformation he goes through on the show. Its really interesting to see him start out as this really awkward but charming guy that has to struggle with the quite literal horros he's been roped into. Then watching how he changes with the continued struggles and handle the new mindsets that are thrown his way makes it so interesting. And by the end, I could only sigh content with his journey but sad it came to a close. I loved watching his and Migi's journey and hope to keep coming back to it in years to come.

Wirt (from Over the Garden Wall)
Another show I love because it does most everything exactly right. Not only that but also speaks to many elements I like on a personal level, I love autumn, love spooky themes and old ghost stories like "legend of Sleepy Hollow" along with odd jontes into strange worlds like "Alice in Wonderland". That and 2D animation always gets me going. Needless to say one of those elements is the character of Wirt. He's pessimistic and a worry wort (hah, puns) who get's easily snarky and annoyed. He rarely trusts, questions most everything and it takes a lot to get him to smile. Normally don't like these types of characters but how they set up his character arch and him interactions with the other cast are what invite me in. That and Elijah Wood does a stunning job with him. Not much to say on him, I just like him and the story he comes from. Its wonderful romp and he's part of the reason I keep coming back.

Prince Zuko (from Avatar the Last Airbender)
One of my oldest favorites and very much beloved by many others. I have watched Avatar:TLA at least three times now (once on my own and the two times with others) and even now, I still adore watching Zuko's journey from start to finish. This is a character that could have so easily been cliche and boring, but every aspect of him was handled with such care that he works so well. From the start he seems like a very standard villian: driven, angry and obsessed with his quest and gaining what was lost in the process. But as we learn more of him, see the conflicts and choices he makes, you come to sympathise and almost want him to succeed. And along the way, he comes to realize his mistakes, own up to them and who he is and work towards doing what's right. I never get tired of seeing Zuko's journey and even after it was over, I still enjoyed seeing more of him through the Graphic Novels and Legend of Korra. He's just that interesting. :3

Vireka (from the Iron Lyons Series)
An obscure one but still my love has not waned for this fellow. I've gone on previously how much and why I like him so again I'll be breif. He's the only character on this list that could be defined as truely evil (the others may have done bad things but its more complicated then them being bad people) and though I normally don't like the villians, man do I love this guy. He's so dynamic, really over the top in how horrible he is, but at the same time there is something more underlining and muted about him. The layers of him is so wonderful to peel back, I could spend hours reading more and more of his internal diolague. Its so hard to explain my sick adortion for this guy, personally, the image does the best justice in my feelings for him (stole it from Brokenfangs, hope she don't mind, will change it if she wants me to). Just looked at that smarmy face, that look of "I'm awesome and know it." and "my ego makes the moon look small." So beautiful. XD

Yamada (from B Gata H Kei)
A very odd choice but I KNEW that she would make the list from the start. Yamada is from an anime that seems outwardly like the steorotypical, high school anime. Don't let the image fool youGoing into exactly why I love her is really difficult but I think the key is she seems outwardly very set as a character but the more you delve into her the more unorthodox and loopy she really is. She's the popular girl who is loved by many but then you hear her internal monologue and you find she's quirky, often illogical and jumps to conclusions too quickly and most importantly, Is extremely proverse. No seriously, her goal at the start is to, I quote "bang 100 men before she graduates high school." Yamada is a special one. And then seeing her attempt to meet said goal while facing the very real life obsticals that happen from dating and hooking up is simply a joy. I love this girl and will never be unamused by her actions.

Tina Belcher (from Bob's Burgers)
From a really great show taht also outwardly looks like it shouldn't. There are several characters that are wonderful and amusing but at the end of it I'm always drawn back to Tina. For me, Tina feels both like what I viewed myself being in High school but also what I WISH I was like. I was and still am awkward, weird, dorky, obsessive and hopelessly romantic just like her. But unlike her, I was and still am very insecure about expressing it through words and art, I have been known to change my opinion simply to please some one I respect or keep quiet ratehr the upset others. But Tina doesn't care more often then not, she is herself and you can take it or leave it. But she is also supportive, niave and has a tendency of following the wills of others because she cares for them. Which leaves her often to become a doormat which I have been once or twice. I think she is a character I see myself in but also is partially a role model, that one day I can be that expressive without fear of others scrutiny. That and that dead monotone is comedy gold man, conveys so much with so little and I love it.

Thakur (from The Book of the Named series)
You'd have probably never guessed the character from image alone and you'd have likely never heard of him before. He's from a little book series that was published several years ago, a story about intelligent cats living in a post-stone age like clan. The main character, Ratha, brings "the red Tongue" (aka fire) into her clan and the story focuses on her life and the changes that result from her decisions. Thakur is a secondary character, he starts out as her mentor and later becomes like a advisor and her love interest, but he's way more then that. He's very wise and open minded, able to offer very good advice and a thorough new view point which makes him a great teacher to the younger cubs of the clan. He usually comes off as almost humble, patient and kind, he can have a sharp edge when need be and is unafraid of speaking out when he feels a error has been made, even against his supperors. And he has his insecurities, his faults which makes you feel all the more fleshed out and easy to sympathise with. I love all the parts with him but I love it even more when its him and Ratha. He's not just there to be her love interest, they are two seprate entities that have serious discussions with each other, both good and bad, and they really improve eachother and look to eachotehr for equal support. The pair make up a better whole which is how I think you should aim to make a romantic realtionship. That being said, I have personal gripes with Ratha and I far more prefer Thakur. Which is why he makes the list.

John Bender (from The Breakfast Club)
One of my aims is to start watching more "classical" films along with the newer stuff to be more rounded with my tastes. Thus I ended up watching this film and boy did I love it. I like the story, the diologue and allthe characters, but in particular, I fell for Bender. The main reason is that he reminds me of a character I created, when watching Bender I was constantly thinking how he sounded and cated so much like my character. But its more then that. He's a jerk, he's selfish and rude does things for the heck of them regardless of how it effects others (or how much he's told no). Yet the reasonings for his actions are understandable and it almsot feels justified. Heck, I almost respect him for his point blank additude and williness to speak out and be what he wants rather then what others want. And hey, he even gets the girl at the end and from what was shown, I always liked the idea he'd end up with her and stay friends with the others from detention. That and he's pretty cute even though I hate the fact he smokes, he has a rugged look about him that is kind of sexy.

Connor Temple (from BBC Primeval)
The final character on the list and man do I have to end it with a bang. I doubt many people have heard of this show and Connor thusly is probably not that well known. Primeval focuses on a team of specialist who deal with gateways through time itself called "anomalies", along with the creatures that come through both past and present. Connor is the expert on identifying the creatures that come through and figuring out how they should best deal with them (sort of like he can break down the animsl into game card states for the group). Thus as a big dino nerd I of course was drawn to him but its more then that. He's a huge nerd with a wonderful thick british accent and all these weird theories and ideas. He's well meaning and loyal even if he screws up, he'd through himself in front of a bullet for the benefit of his friends. Not going to lie, I had and sort fo still do have a huge crush on this guy but in the end I ship him with fellow team mate Amy. They make a great team and he makes a great man for her. What's not to love about that.

Have to say I'm impressed that I have a nice bit of diversity of characters: some are from books, others from cartoons or movies, and they all pretty much have different personalities and roles. Well done me. :3
