Skoll and Hati

Believe or not, not all my art is done in Photoshop. In fact, I’ve only been doing Photoshop for a little less then a year now. Before I started working on the computer, most of my art was in sketchbooks, most of which remained uncolored or even unfinished. This is one of the few pieces I managed to get colored (unlike many of my colored projects that I dropped or lost interest in). It’s based off the webcomic Off-White, done by Tanathe and Akreon. The two characters featured are the Skoll and Hati, the wolf spirits in charge of shepherding the moon and sun (respectively).
This piece was done in pastel about two or three years ago and I was only just getting familiar with the medium (hence the odd stains). Also, I wasn’t as familiar with the candid design back then so the anatomy is a bit off (like that back leg on Skoll that’s currently screaming “WRONG, WRONG”). However, the colors on this turned out beautiful and I love the markings Hati and moon looks awesome.
So all and all, I’m proud of how it turned out and I hope you are as well.
