Too much Inspiration, So little Attention

Oh lord, this . . .just this . . .ugh. I started a while back, dropped it, restarted it, dropped it again, abridged it down and finally sloppily finished it up last minute. And even then I only now got it posted after a good month of forgetting to do so. But its up now, as ugly as it is at least it won’t be cluttering up my stash now. XC
Anyway, this focuses on problem I’m sure a lot of creative writers have: having several different characters and story ideas but not enough attention and time to work on them all at once. So you schedule your time and become a bit strict about when you work on certain ideas but in the end you still having these nagging ideas that press and pry at you, wanting you focus on them and work on there story. And even though these characters and stories aren’t “real”, they still make you feel the pressure.
It’s almost like having a group poltergeists following you about everywhere you go grating at you to work on this or that next. And more often then not they act like children on the playground, fighting each other for attention instead of quietly waiting their turn. It’s incredibly irritating and often I have to take breaks away before I grow mad from it. But even through it all, I love my characters and stories and look forward to working on them each day.
Though do wish they’d go play cards for a while so I can focus on other matters.
Some of you may recognize the characters in the comic: such as Kovu and Kiara (canon characters), Zira and her assistant, Alijali and my version of Mheetu and his father Azwel (the mate of Sarafina and father of Nala). However, there are a few faces that I haven’t identified or introduced yet, and hopefully I’ll get to introduce them at a later date.
In other news, practiced dialogue bubbles and stylization with telling the story in panels. It looks okay, could be improved. Meh.
