Walking in the air

Back when I was taking my Photoshop class about a year and a half ago, our teacher had for our final exam to create a two, complicated works in Photoshop. We were allowed to choose what ever the subject matter was so long as it was mostly original and met the criteria. The first project I made was the The Trails of the Hearts cover for Rinja as seen here [link] . The second was were I drew nightmare pegasus thing and then Photoshoped it into a pre-existing BG (as seen in the reference). Because I sent so much time on the first project, the second was thrown together at the last minute and coupled with my lack of experience turned out crappy. So a few months back, I suddenly got to urge to draw it again but this time draw in the BG myself and make the Pegusus thing look cool. And because I'm more experienced now, I felt confident in my skill. This is the final result.
I have to say that this definitely exemplifies my skill and improvement as a artist. I can't believe how much I've improved in the last year or so. And its mostly thanks to all of you here on DA (and my friends in real life): your encouragement has allowed me to really come into my own.
